High Lift Catering Driver Halifax

Drive high-loader catering vehicles in Halifax while coordinating aircraft loading, safety checks, and flight schedules. This full-time position pays $21.81 hourly.
Reporting to the Supervisor, Air Side Team, the Driver loads and off-loads catering materials according to schedules, lists, labels, and customer requirements. The work requires a Class 5 license, a clean driving record, English communication, and previous similar experience. Responsibilities include vehicle checks, secure loading, paperwork, and communication during irregular operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather catering materials and complete timely vehicle loading
Perform pre-trip truck checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Load and unload aircraft using schedules, labels, and stowages
Coordinate injuries, accidents, shortages, and block outs
Follow security, safety, SQOR, and company procedures
Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma and Class 5 license
Clean driving record and completed driver’s abstract
Previous experience in a similar role
Availability for rotating eight-hour shifts and overtime
Ability to work at heights up to 20–25 feet
Support gategroup’s Halifax airline catering operations through careful driving, aircraft service, safety compliance, and reliable communication.
