Agilus by Synergie seeks a skilled Health and Safety Advisor for the Oil and Gas Sector in Port Moody, British Columbia. Leverage your expertise to implement effective health and safety solutions within our dedicated team.
This position calls for a professional with at least ten years of safety experience in high-risk environments, ideally within oil and gas. You will support health and safety initiatives, conduct thorough assessments, and provide coaching to minimize risks on-site. The role is focused on ensuring compliance and promoting a safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Conduct regular worksite safety assessments
• Provide immediate coaching for unsafe practices
• Evaluate contractor workers' safety qualifications
• Assist in incident investigations and hazard identification
Requirements:
• 10+ years of safety experience in high-risk settings
• Recognized safety certification or relevant degree
• Strong knowledge of BC safety regulations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proven communication skills with leadership
