Transportation Insurance Underwriter
Revau Advanced Underwriting inc.
Analyze transportation insurance risks at Revau as an Atlantic-region Underwriter, managing submissions, renewals, endorsements, and broker service. Collaborate with partners while applying underwriting guidelines.
Reporting to the AVP – Transport, you will primarily handle new business submissions and renewals. Your work includes risk analysis, policy endorsement management, and broker service for transportation clients. You may also support underwriting teams across Canada as business grows, while delivering tailored solutions aligned with insureds’ needs, profitability objectives, and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess requested changes and determine coverage and pricing adjustments
Handle broker requests accurately, professionally, and promptly
Document underwriting decisions and maintain file integrity
Collaborate with underwriters and operations teams
Review select renewal accounts and obtain required approvals
Requirements:
Two to four years in property and casualty insurance
Experience in underwriting, broker service, or related work
Policy endorsement or administration experience is an asset
Knowledge of automobile or commercial insurance is an asset
Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, and detail skills
