Registered Nurse Agape Hospice Calgary
The Salvation Army International
Provide person-centered hospice nursing care in Calgary with The Salvation Army, using assessment, medication administration, and clinical judgment. This is a part-time onsite position.
The Registered Nurse delivers safe, holistic care through comprehensive assessments, individualized care planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position monitors physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being while supporting interdisciplinary care. Accurate electronic documentation, client advocacy, and professional communication are central to the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess clients and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions
Monitor changing conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
Maintain complete, timely electronic clinical documentation
Coordinate conferences, admissions, discharges, and team meetings
Requirements:
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
Three years of related nursing experience
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Knowledge of nursing standards and basic procedures
Valid driver's license and clear driver's abstract
Use nursing expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate communication to support clients and families at Agape Hospice in Calgary.
