Dispatch Coordinator Transportation Operations
MAJCO TRUCKING
Coordinate transportation operations at Majco Trucking using order entry, shipment scheduling, and precise driver communication. Support safe, efficient dispatching across daily shipments.
As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will manage orders, shipment records, customer updates, and driver assignments. The work includes coordinating LTL, FTL, reefer, flatbed, and expedited shipments. You will use transportation management systems, email, Microsoft Excel, and office software while supporting Ontario and Canadian regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter customer orders accurately into the transportation management system
Schedule pickups and deliveries and maintain shipment statuses
Assign shipments based on equipment, location, capacity, and requirements
Communicate delays, schedules, assignments, and concerns proactively
Maintain bills of lading, proof of delivery, and dispatch records
Requirements:
Previous transportation dispatch, logistics, or trucking operations experience preferred
Understanding of LTL and FTL transportation operations
Familiarity with Ontario regulations, CVOR, and driver Hours of Service
Strong English communication, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple shipments, drivers, and customer requests
Bring organized dispatch coordination, customer service, and regulatory awareness to Majco Trucking’s transportation operations.
