Structural BIM Modeler expertise in Revit and AutoCAD supports Mott MacDonald’s Vancouver team through a hybrid, office-centered work model.
This experienced professional creates structural models and drawings for built environment projects. The work includes concrete and steel structures, multidisciplinary collaboration, and design quality. Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Dynamo, and structural analysis software supports project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Create 3D structural models using Revit and AutoCAD
Prepare 2D packages from design models
Develop concrete and steel arrangement drawings
Run clash detection and complete necessary corrections
Mentor junior designers through project assignments
Requirements:
Three to five years’ structural design experience
Associate degree or higher in a related field
Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and Navisworks
Strong written and oral English communication skills
Ability to meet cost, quality, and deadline objectives
Apply structural modeling, drawing production, and coordination skills to complex Vancouver projects with Mott MacDonald’s multidisciplinary team.
