School Facilities Cleaning Custodian

Support clean, well-maintained school facilities as a Casual Custodian with the Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board. Complete essential building and grounds duties Monday to Friday as needed.
Reporting to the Principal, you will provide a safe work environment for staff and students through detailed cleaning and maintenance. Responsibilities include washing windows, walls, and ceilings, emptying waste containers, tending grounds, and cleaning outdoor areas. The assignment also requires moving furniture and completing minor repairs when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
Empty trash cans and other waste containers
Tend grounds and plants as directed by the Principal
Clean snow and ice from exterior areas
Perform minor repairs and move facility supplies
Requirements:
Previous custodial or cleaning experience required
School environment experience considered an asset
Mechanical aptitude for minor repairs
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Use dependable cleaning, groundskeeping, and minor repair skills to maintain safe facilities for students and staff.
