Senior Operating Room Team Attendant
North York General Hospital
Support patient flow and direct patient care as a Senior Operating Room Team Attendant with North York General in Toronto. Work full time temporarily across days, evenings, and weekends.
This senior hospital role supports the organization and optimal function of Perioperative Services. You will work collaboratively with an interprofessional care team in the Operating Room, maintaining supplies and equipment. The position also supports North York General’s academic mandate through teaching, learning, research, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient-centered direct care following regulated provider guidance
Carry out portering and cleaning duties
Maintain Operating Room supplies and equipment
Communicate patient requests and changing priorities
Collaborate with centralized housekeeping and linen departments
Requirements:
High School diploma or general education degree required
Completed Personal Support Worker certificate required
Registered and in good standing with HSCPOA
Related experience or training considered an asset
French and English bilingualism considered an asset
Bring patient care, communication, and problem-solving skills to Perioperative Services at North York General’s Operating Room.
