Nursing Theory Instructors Needed

Cape Breton University is seeking qualified nursing professionals to serve as Theory Instructors within the School of Nursing. This role is essential for addressing academic vacancies throughout the year.
Ideal candidates will be part of a select pool and may be appointed to teach various undergraduate Nursing theory courses based on program needs. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis, contributing to nursing education while fostering an engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver course content per approved outlines and objectives
• Facilitate student learning via lectures and discussions
• Develop course evaluations and administer examinations
• Assess student performance with timely feedback
• Maintain academic records and submit grades accordingly
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current RN registration/licensure required
• Expertise in nursing theory and practice
• Communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Previous nursing education experience preferred
