Teach Primary students at Metcalfe Public School with FSL Part 1 qualifications in Ottawa-Carleton District School Board schools. Support inclusive learning and student well-being.
This occasional teaching contract is based at Metcalfe Public School, serving a rural community in the Osgoode Township area. The successful teacher will support student success, achievement, and well-being through positive, inclusive learning environments. Strong communication, respectful collaboration, and a human rights and equity perspective are essential to the OCDSB’s Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Create a positive and inclusive school climate
Foster student success, achievement, and well-being
Support quality education through sound current pedagogy
Work collaboratively and respectfully with school communities
Promote learning excellence for individual student needs
Requirements:
Required OCT Primary divisional qualification
Required OCT FSL Part 1 additional qualification
Eligibility as an occasional teacher without a part time contract
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Human rights and equity perspective
