Casual Food Service Worker North Vancouver

Serve residents at Cedarview Lodge as a casual Food Service Worker with Vancouver Coastal Health in North Vancouver, using Food Safe protocols daily.
Reporting to Food Services leadership, this unionized, on-call position supports client and family centered care. Duties include meal service, food preparation, diet portions, sanitation, supply replenishment, and patient tray accuracy. You will also answer queries and perform related clerical work.
Key Responsibilities:

Portion and serve patient and resident meals
Prepare vegetables, beverages, sandwiches, salads, and desserts
Check trays for dietary accuracy against nutritional plans
Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment, wagons, and surfaces
Deliver trays and replenish food, beverage, and paper supplies
Requirements:

Grade 10 and one year of recent related experience
Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted
Food Safe Certificate Level 1
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Physical ability to perform position duties
