Home Care Attendant Community Care

Support people in their homes as a Home Care Attendant with Southern Health-Santé Sud, using critical thinking and compassionate care. This permanent, 0.6 FTE position is performed in person.
Southern Health-Santé Sud provides people-centered health care throughout a vibrant, diverse region. The Home Care Attendant supports community care while respecting confidentiality, cultural diversity, and individual needs. Candidates bring relevant education, community experience, and the ability to work independently or with a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide home care support within community settings
Apply critical thinking during daily care activities
Respect confidentiality across paper and electronic formats
Work independently and collaboratively with team members
Travel to regional facilities when position duties require
Requirements:

Grade 12 education
Home Care Attendant or Health Care Aide Certificate
Experience with elderly or disabled people preferred
Valid Class 5 licence, insured vehicle, and liability insurance
Ability to meet physical and mental job demands
Bring community care experience, sound judgment, and cultural respect to Southern Health-Santé Sud as a Home Care Attendant.
