Talent Acquisition and HR Manager
Big Viking Games
Lead full-cycle recruiting and HR operations at Big Viking Games in hybrid Toronto work, using structured hiring and compliant people practices.
As Talent Acquisition and HR Manager, you will report to the Head of People and Culture. You will personally manage searches across engineering, AI, data, DevOps, product, live games, and player services. You will also run onboarding, HR administration, policy, compliance, and systems for employees and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Own priority searches from intake through signed offer
Source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and networks
Coordinate interviews, debriefs, references, negotiations, and closing
Manage onboarding, offboarding, records, benefits, and payroll inputs
Maintain Workable, policies, training records, and HR metrics
Requirements:
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including technical hires
2+ years of HR generalist or operations experience
Experience hiring AI, machine learning, or data talent
Knowledge of Ontario employment and accessibility requirements
Ability to work downtown Toronto four days weekly
Bring recruiting, HR operations, compliance, sourcing, and closing expertise to Big Viking Games’ Toronto-based people function.
