As a Registered Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will support residents’ comfort, dignity, and respect. Your work includes assessing physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs, then implementing and evaluating nursing care. You will participate in interdisciplinary conferences and contribute to team learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing and personal care within established policies
Assess and address residents’ comprehensive care needs
Implement and evaluate resident goals and care plans
Participate in interdisciplinary conferences about resident care
Share specialized knowledge and support educational programs
Requirements:
Possess BScN, BN, or an equivalent nursing qualification
Hold current registration with a recognized provincial nursing college
Demonstrate compassion for seniors and meaningful resident support
Organize work and set priorities around resident needs
Communicate effectively in written and spoken English
Bring compassionate geriatric nursing, comprehensive assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration to residents at Granite Ridge in Stittsville.
