Casual Medical Laboratory Technician

Use laboratory procedures, careful documentation, and patient-focused communication as a casual Technician working various shifts in Manitoba.
Dynacare’s Laboratory Health Services Centres need a Technician for Stonewall, Oakbank, Beausejour, and Selkirk locations. You will obtain specimens, conduct routine procedures, maintain equipment, and record test results. The position contributes to quality metrics, team support, and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine laboratory procedures for diagnostic data
Obtain blood specimens from patients
Complete urine collections and specimen preparation
Prepare monthly quality-control statistical reports
Maintain and calibrate routine laboratory equipment
Requirements:

Laboratory Technician graduate or equivalent previous experience
Demonstrated phlebotomy experience
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Careful, organized approach to laboratory duties
Ability to work independently and within teams
Apply laboratory technique, equipment care, specimen handling, and communication skills as a Dynacare Technician across four Manitoba centres.
