Heavy Equipment Fire Suppression Technician

Mechanical troubleshooting meets specialized fire suppression work in Sudbury, with a 14 days on and 14 days off schedule and training provided.
Levitt-Safety seeks a Mechanical Service Technician for vehicle fire suppression and Fire & Life Safety equipment. You will use hands-on mechanical experience, hand and power tools, and basic electrical troubleshooting. The work supports mining, heavy equipment, and industrial environments throughout the Sudbury area.
Key Responsibilities:
Service and inspect vehicle fire suppression equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues
Work with ANSUL, Kidde, Fogmaker, and Amerex systems
Travel to customer sites throughout the Sudbury area
Complete service reports, inspections, and safety documentation
Requirements:
Hands-on experience in automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment environments
Confidence using hand and power tools
Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
Valid driver's licence and satisfactory driver's abstract
Willingness to complete required screening requirements
Develop specialized fire suppression expertise through mechanical service, troubleshooting, and customer support with Levitt-Safety in Sudbury.
