Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority seeks a Registered Nurse for its Long Term Care department. The 0.50 FTE clinical position provides patient, resident, and client care under established standards, policies, and procedures. The nurse may provide clinical direction when assigned charge responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Apply established nursing standards, policies, and procedures
Provide clinical direction to Health Care Aides
Direct Unit Clerks, RN IIs, and LPNs when assigned charge
Practice according to professional obligations and applicable legislation
Requirements:
Active or eligible Manitoba registered nursing licensure
Current Basic Life Support training
Clinical nursing competence aligned with practice standards
Effective decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Computer skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring registered nursing expertise, clinical judgment, and compassionate long-term care practice to Eriksdale Personal Care Home night shifts.
