Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated Assistant Chief Power Engineer with extensive experience in energy management and supervisory skills. To qualify, candidates must possess a 2nd Class Power Engineer certification and six years of relevant experience. You will oversee safe operations of mechanical utilities while providing leadership within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise Power Engineers and coordinate work assignments
• Provide technical guidance and monitor compliance with standards
• Plan and coordinate preventative maintenance activities
• Manage outside contractors and oversee work specifications
• Monitor chemical treatment systems and perform repairs
Requirements:
• 2nd Class Power Engineer certification (BC recognized)
• Six years' related experience including supervisory role
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Physical capacity to perform assigned duties
