Part Time Healthcare Assignment Coordinator

Coordinate patient care assignments for ParaMed in London, Ontario, using scheduling, computer, and customer service skills. This is a part time opportunity.
As an Assignment Coordinator, you will match staff with patients using availability, suggested times, and relevant skill sets. You will build patient care schedules and maintain computerized employee and patient data. The work supports communication among funders, staff, patients, and families while documenting interactions appropriately.
Key Responsibilities:

Assign appropriate staff to patients using availability and skills
Build patient care schedules based on relevant information
Enter and update employee and patient data
Respond courteously to calls and electronic communications
Document and report staff and patient interactions
Requirements:

One year of administrative or office experience is an asset
Scheduling experience is an asset
Strong computer skills
Superior customer service skills
Effective oral and written communication with compassion and empathy
