Peeling Machine Technical Operator

Operate and troubleshoot peeling equipment onsite in Milton, Ontario, using preventative maintenance and production leadership skills. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Chudleigh’s seeks a Technical Operator to set up, monitor, operate, and maintain its peeling machine. You will support the Peeling team, improve equipment performance, and help meet production requirements. The role combines equipment adjustment, problem solving, staff training, safety monitoring, and accurate production records.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the peeling machine
Meet hourly targets of 10,000 kilograms, aiming for 12,000
Train staff on hazards and correct unsafe conditions
Lead peeling activities, huddles, breaks, and staff coordination
Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance checks
Requirements:
Two or more years in food manufacturing preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience operating forklifts and peeling machines
Valid Forklift License
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds
Bring peeling equipment operation, troubleshooting, safety, and team leadership skills to Chudleigh’s production operations in Milton.
