As Head of the Division of Respirology, you will oversee a team of 16 respirologists, collaborating closely with departmental and hospital leadership. The position demands about 1-2 days per week dedicated to administrative tasks, with the remainder focused on clinical and academic activities. Responsibilities involve setting strategic goals to enhance patient-centered care and advancing respirology education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary leadership for clinical and academic services
• Collaborate on annual goals with departmental leadership
• Promote innovation in patient care and research
• Mentor and coordinate a diverse team of respirologists
• Engage in administrative and leadership activities
Requirements:
• MD degree and eligibility for Ontario medical licensure
• Certification in Respirology with the Royal College
• Leadership experience in academic and clinical settings
• Ability to meet bilingual requirements preferred
• Eligible for academic appointment as Associate Professor
