Senior Living Dining Services Attendant

Serve residents and guests with personalized dining service at Verve Senior Living, supporting warm mealtimes and dietary requirements every day.
The Dining Services Attendant provides dining room service under the Dining Services Manager or designate. This role serves meals, supports resident preferences, and maintains dietary area cleanliness. Responsibilities include food preparation assistance, point of sale use, sanitation, and effective communication with residents, guests, and coworkers.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve meals, snacks, desserts, and appetizers to residents and guests
Follow dietary restrictions and accommodate residents’ personal preferences
Set tables and clear dishes, utensils, and dining areas
Wash dishes and sanitize equipment after each meal
Record food temperatures and samples according to regulations
Requirements:

Minimum Grade 12 education
Two years’ similar serving experience preferred
Understanding of food service and preparation
Valid regional safe food handler’s certificate
Valid alcohol serving certificate and English communication skills
Support Verve Senior Living residents through attentive meal service, dietary care, sanitation, and clear communication.
