Housekeeping Aide Facility Cleaner

Keep resident rooms and facility spaces clean as a Housekeeping Aide with The Salvation Army. Use vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing techniques.
This Housekeeping Aide role focuses on cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces. You will support orderly operations by emptying garbage, cleaning equipment, and reporting repair or maintenance needs. The position requires physical ability, organization, communication, and effective interaction with others.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and facility common areas
Clean offices, conference, multipurpose, quiet rooms, and parkade
Empty garbage cans in rooms, washrooms, and offices
Vacuum draperies and clean carts and equipment
Report repair and maintenance needs to the supervisor
Requirements:

Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent combination
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Deal effectively with others
Organize work and operate related equipment
Physical ability to carry out assigned duties
Apply housekeeping, equipment operation, and organization skills while maintaining clean spaces for The Salvation Army.
