Hybrid Data Center Systems Administrator Role

Enhance your IT career as a Data Center Systems Administrator at Alteo, based in Boucherville, with a hybrid work model of three days in-office and two days remote.
In this permanent position, you will maintain high service availability, administer virtual and physical machines, and diagnose infrastructure incidents to ensure seamless operations. Your role will involve assessing company needs, managing change requests, and providing Level 2 and 3 IT support for hosting services, all while ensuring data integrity and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain consistent service availability in the data center
• Administer physical and virtual machines, networking, and storage
• Diagnose and resolve data center incidents swiftly
• Participate in assessing and designing technological solutions
• Ensure data center backups and operational continuity
Requirements:
• AEC, DEC, or BAC in IT or networking
• 4+ years of relevant experience in the field
• Proficiency in VMware tools and Windows environments
• Good knowledge of advanced networking concepts
• Excellent documentation skills and bilingual communication
