Compassionate PSW Care Professional Role
Home Instead
Become a PSW Care Professional with Home Instead and help aging adults live with dignity and compassion. This role focuses on caregiving, companionship, and essential daily tasks for clients.
Home Instead seeks caring professionals to provide non-medical services for seniors. As a PSW Care Professional, you'll offer companionship, assist with light housekeeping, and prepare meals. You'll also deliver medication reminders and support Alzheimer's care while ensuring a respectful environment for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
• Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Remind clients about medications and appointments
• Offer specialized Alzheimer’s care as needed
• Communicate compassionately with clients and their families
Requirements:
• PSW certification or one year of Nursing education
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for client driving
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training
• No prior experience required—training provided
