Grinding Area Mill Operator

Operate SAG and ball mills at McIlvenna Bay as a full-time Grinding Area Operator on Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan’s 14/14 rotation.
This Mill Operator 3 role supports the Mill Processing Plant Team at a copper, zinc, gold, and silver project. You will monitor grinding performance, adjust feed rates, maintain equipment, support sampling, and record process data. Technical or vocational mineral-processing training is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate SAG mills, ball mills, hydrocyclones, and vibrating screens
Adjust feed rates and settings for target particle size
Support Met Lab sampling and quality checks
Perform lubrication, cleaning, and part replacements
Report issues and maintain accurate process logs
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1.5 years as a Mill Operator
At least six months as a Grinding Area Operator
Knowledge of grinding principles and mineral processing
Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying conditions
Bring grinding equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety knowledge to Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan’s McIlvenna Bay processing team.
