Automotive Damage Appraiser SGI

Review vehicle appraisals for SGI from Regina or Saskatoon, applying estimating knowledge and judgment to repair costs and values. Hybrid work follows probation.
The Image Appraiser reviews and approves vehicle appraisals and supplements through an electronic estimating platform. This temporary, full-time, one-year position determines repairability thresholds and supports accurate claim decisions. Daily work includes researching damage, assessing repair times, and communicating with auto body shops and adjusters.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and approve prepared vehicle appraisals and supplements
Compare images to validate requested judgment and repair times
Investigate whether damage is accident related
Identify potential total losses and initiate stop work
Discuss appraisal discrepancies with shops and adjusters
Requirements:
One to three years of relevant industry experience
Platinum I-CAR Auto-Physical Damage Appraiser certification
Knowledge of estimating and claims software programs
Knowledge of vehicle construction, repair, and mechanical operation
Grade 12 or GED and valid driver's licence
Bring vehicle damage estimating, appraisal review, and repair knowledge to SGI's Regina or Saskatoon team.
