Heavy Equipment Truck Technician
Bayview Trucks - Saint John
Use heavy equipment service training to maintain trucks and trailers for The Bayview Group in Saint John, with flexible shift scheduling available.
This technician role supports a full-service parts and sales dealer for Kenworth Trucks. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, warrantable repair documentation, road testing, and diagnosis across engines, electrical systems, electronics, brakes, steering, suspension, and power trains. Emergency service coverage may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance services at all levels
Recognize and document warrantable repairs accurately
Road test vehicles when necessary
Repair engines, power trains, brakes, and suspension systems
Present a professional, positive, cooperative attitude
Requirements:
Minimum Block 3 completion in applicable certification
Four years of service environment experience
Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
Willingness and ability to continue training
Basic Windows software skills and required checks
