Commercial Claims Executive Manchester

Commercial claims expertise and client advocacy define this full-time permanent Claims Executive position, ideally based in Howden’s Manchester office two to three days weekly.
Howden seeks an experienced commercial claims professional for its established Claims team. You will manage complex claims, advise clients across commercial sectors, and collaborate with broking colleagues. Strong policy knowledge, negotiation, and stakeholder management support effective outcomes throughout the claims journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage claims from notification through settlement
Advise clients throughout the claims process
Collaborate with brokers, insurers, adjusters, and legal representatives
Investigate significant losses and build claims submissions
Negotiate settlements aligned with policy coverage
Requirements:

Commercial claims brokerage experience
Strong knowledge of policies, coverage, and procedures
Client relationship management experience
Analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills
GCSE Maths and English; CII desirable
Support commercial clients through complex claims using policy expertise, negotiation, empathy, and trusted relationship management at Howden.
