This position is part of an ongoing search for talented individuals interested in supporting vulnerable populations at Grace Mansion. As a Support Worker, you will supervise residents and address their emotional and practical needs while promoting independence and community integration. Candidates must have a strong commitment to service and the ability to handle various tough situations with care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise activities of residents during shifts
• Respond to resident questions and concerns
• Provide emergency assistance when necessary
• Facilitate intake and resident support processes
• Assist with connections to community resources
Requirements:
• High school diploma required; further studies an asset
• 10 months’ experience in supportive or residential settings
• Certification in First Aid/CPR preferred
• Training in crisis intervention or willingness to learn
• Criminal Record Check required for vulnerable adult work
