Certified Maintenance Millwright Etobicoke

Certified Maintenance Millwrights can apply advanced troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills at Smurfit Westrock’s Etobicoke Plant. Weekly rotating shifts run Monday through Friday.
This unionized position reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires Red Seal certification. You will install, align, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair equipment. The work includes machinery inspection, defective-part replacement, and operation of tools, hoists, machine tools, and maintenance vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:

Install, align, maintain, and repair machinery
Inspect equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
Adjust machinery and replace defective parts
Operate hoists, lifts, forklifts, and machine tools
Maintain equipment safety and workplace cleanliness
Requirements:

Red Seal certification as a certified millwright
Minimum five years of experience
Advanced mechanical trade and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions
Availability for rotating shifts and required overtime
