Support strategic transactions with EY in Edmonton or Calgary, combining valuation analysis, due diligence, and client presentation expertise.
EY seeks an Analyst or Associate for its industry-leading M&A group. The role advises clients across mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and valuations. Associates help execute processes from deal sourcing through closure, working with client and target personnel during due diligence. Associate candidates need at least four years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, financing, corporate development, or financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute M&A processes from deal sourcing through closure
Prepare valuation analyses using multiple techniques
Oversee electronic data rooms for buy-side engagements
Coordinate due diligence with clients and target personnel
Advise clients across industries and transaction types
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar
Associate requires four or more years relevant experience
Strong analytical, logical thinking, and attention to detail
Ability to manage pressure and competing deadlines
CBV or CFA designation progress is advantageous
Bring transaction execution, valuation, and due diligence capabilities to EY’s M&A advisory work across Calgary and Edmonton.
