Lead legacy giving outreach through donor presentations, community events, and prospect research for the Archdiocese of Vancouver. Occasional travel is required.
This Senior Planned Giving Officer represents the Archdiocese at donor, parish, and community events while supporting relationships and gift opportunities. You will coordinate registrations, invitations, logistics, and follow-up for seminars and workshops. Confidential data management, Salesforce experience, and knowledge of Catholic fundraising initiatives strengthen this work.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan seminars, workshops, and educational presentations
Coordinate event logistics, registrations, invitations, and follow-up
Represent the Archdiocese at community events
Conduct donor and prospect research
Prepare donor profiles for leadership and gift officers
Requirements:

Three to five years’ experience in fundraising or related fields
Strong understanding of fundraising and donation processing
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Knowledge of the Catholic Church in Vancouver
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
Apply event planning, prospect research, and donor engagement skills to expand planned giving across Vancouver’s Catholic community.
