School Food Service Supervisor

The Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center seeks a Food Service Supervisor to oversee its food service program. This position manages daily operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, purchasing, inventory, and meal service. The supervisor promotes student participation and customer satisfaction while maintaining a self-supporting program.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee menu planning, preparation, meal service, and quality control
Ensure USDA nutrition, safety, sanitation, and reporting compliance
Manage food, labor, inventory, and program costs
Supervise hiring, training, scheduling, performance, and timesheets
Maintain accurate records, reports, deposits, and confidential information
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Food service supervisory experience preferred
School food service and USDA program familiarity preferred
Strong leadership, organizational, communication, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
Required BCI/FBI background checks and public school compliance
