The YMCA of Saskatoon is hiring an experienced Early Childhood Educator for a maternity leave coverage role. As an On-Floor Supervisor, you will directly engage with children while providing guidance to fellow educators. Responsibilities include maintaining classroom standards, compliance with safety, and documentation processes, all while fostering a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day guidance and coaching to educators
• Maintain staff-to-child ratios through classroom coverage
• Coordinate fire drills and ensure safety procedures are followed
• Oversee documentation for licensing and attendance
• Support the Centre Manager in daily operations
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Educator certification in Saskatchewan
• Experience in a licensed childcare environment
• Knowledge of health and safety standards
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Current First Aid and CPR-C certification
