Licensed Practical Nurses can provide home care through clinical practice, IV Therapy, and wound care with Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority. Stonewall-based work supports regional residents.
Under the Home Care Nursing Supervisor, this Licensed Practical Nurse works within a multidisciplinary team. Assigned activities come from the Home Care Case Coordinator. The position supports integrated, holistic health services responsive to residents and staff. Professional judgment guides daily duties and unusual matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer assigned Home Care functions and activities
Work within a multidisciplinary team
Promote integrated, holistic health services
Exercise professional judgment during daily duties
Support Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority values
Requirements:
Licensed Practical Nurse with applicable additional education
Current Manitoba registration in good standing
IV Therapy and Wound Care Levels 1 and 2
Current Basic Life Support certification
One year nursing experience, preferably Home Care
Bring licensed practical nursing, wound care, and independent judgment to Home Care services across the Interlake-Eastern region.
