Ammonia CO2 Refrigeration Apprentice
CIMCO Refrigeration
Develop industrial refrigeration experience with CIMCO, supporting preventative maintenance and customer communication involving complex thermal systems. Mobile service work requires flexibility.
This apprentice position is open to individuals pursuing apprenticeship or first year apprentices. CIMCO specializes in engineering, designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing industrial, process cooling, and recreational refrigeration systems. Your work will connect maintenance findings with customers and account managers while supporting health, safety, and on call requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out preventative maintenance for CIMCO customers
Recognize potential upgrades and required maintenance needs
Explain findings to customers and account managers
Follow health and safety programs during service work
Remain available for the yearly on call rotation
Requirements:
Open to apprenticeship candidates and first year apprentices
Previous ammonia or CO2 refrigerant experience is an asset
Controls experience is an asset
Gas Fitter license is an asset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bring developing refrigeration knowledge, clear communication, and safety awareness to CIMCO’s customer-focused industrial service work.
