AMADA Punch Press Operator

Customer is seeking an AMADA CNC set up operator to set up, program, and operate AMADA turret punch presses. Role includes tooling, first-piece verification, reading drawings/CAD output, adjusting programs, troubleshooting machines, maintaining quality and production targets, and following safety procedures.
Must have skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years hands-on experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC punch presses
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM output, and produce accurate first-piece inspections
Competence with basic CNC program edits, tool selection, and setup documentation
Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and quality control checks
Strong attention to detail, safe material handling, and ability to meet production schedules
Do you have direct experience setting up and operating AMADA CNC turret punch presses? (Yes/No/expand)
Can you read production drawings and perform first-piece inspections independently? (Yes/No/expand)
Are you comfortable performing basic CNC program edits, tool changes, and troubleshooting on press equipment? (Yes/No/expand)
Are you available for required shifts and occasional overtime to meet production demands? (Yes/No/expand)
