Registered Cardiac Sonographer Echocardiography

Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer with RVH, working primarily in Midland and occasionally at Georgian Drive.
This part-time position supports inpatient and outpatient populations through accurate diagnostic imaging. You will apply technical expertise, attention to detail, and patient-centered care while producing timely studies for clinical decision-making. The role requires collaboration with cardiologists, nurses, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive transthoracic echocardiograms for inpatient and outpatient populations
Acquire and analyze diagnostic-quality images using departmental protocols
Document and communicate findings appropriately
Maintain current echocardiography competencies and quality assurance practices
Provide safe, compassionate care throughout procedures
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Current Sonography Canada or ARDMS Adult Echocardiography registration
Good-standing CMRITO membership
Current Basic Life Support certification
One to three years of Registered Cardiac Sonographer experience
