As a Reporter-Editor in the Radio-Canada Ottawa-Gatineau newsroom, you will cover the Outaouais, Ottawa, and surrounding areas. You will develop original story angles and produce digital, radio, Téléjournal Ottawa-Gatineau, and vertical video content. This is a one-year replacement position.
Key Responsibilities:

Cover regional news across Ottawa, Gatineau, and surrounding areas
Pitch precise and original story angles
Prepare, deliver, and present live reports
Create content for digital, radio, television, and vertical video
Apply CBC/Radio-Canada Journalistic Standards and Practices
Requirements:

University degree in journalism, communications, or related field
Three years of directly related field reporting experience
Strong French and advanced English language proficiency
Strong interviewing, writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
Bring regional knowledge, journalistic rigor, and bilingual reporting skills to Radio-Canada’s Ottawa-Gatineau newsroom.
