Health Data Analyst Organ Transplantation
Canadian Institute for Health Information
Analyze health system data for CIHI’s CanODT project in Ottawa or Toronto, applying Python, statistical analysis, and data visualization skills.
As an Analyst supporting Organ Donation and Transplantation and CORR, you will prepare reliable data and analytical outputs. The contract continues until March 12, 2027. Your work will support indicator development, reporting, data quality, and communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, validate, and document health system data
Develop analytical plans, indicators, and supporting methodologies
Run documented statistical and exploratory analyses using analytic code
Produce reports, dashboards, and visual products for diverse audiences
Support queries, data extracts, ETL, and data governance
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in a related analytical or health field
One to three years of related data analytics experience
Proficiency with Python and Microsoft Office applications
Experience producing clear visualizations and analytical reports
Knowledge of healthcare systems and reproducible analytics workflows
Bring health data analysis, visualization, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication skills to CIHI’s CanODT work.
