As a Mechanical Field Engineer, your expertise will be crucial for major mining construction and expansion projects. You will work closely with construction teams, offering technical guidance and actively participating in the execution of mining initiatives. This role demands initiative and immediate contribution, particularly towards mine expansions and new underground developments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary mechanical engineering resource for site execution
• Provide technical support to construction supervisors and personnel
• Collaborate with teams to resolve engineering challenges
• Monitor project progress for schedules and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation required
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the mining industry
• Strong background in construction support and project delivery
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
