Lead operations and maintenance at Exhibition Place, Canada’s largest entertainment venue. This managerial role focuses on technical leadership, safety compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
As the Manager of Operations & Maintenance at Exhibition Place, you will oversee a skilled team handling maintenance services. This includes carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, and conservation initiatives. You will ensure adherence to safety regulations and organizational policies while developing proactive solutions to operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage maintenance and repair services across various disciplines
• Establish and maintain a safe work environment
• Uphold organizational policies and ensure compliance with safety codes
• Develop environmental and energy conservation programs
• Oversee the District Energy Plant and metering systems
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in engineering discipline
• Minimum 10 years in maintenance experience
• Strong management experience in a unionized setting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and safety standards
