Sleep Lab Respiratory Therapist

Bring respiratory therapy skills to Owen Sound and Brightshores Health System, including Sleep Lab practice, patient teaching, and clinical procedures.
This temporary, part-time Respiratory Therapist assignment runs approximately through November 2027. The successful professional plans and implements therapeutic and diagnostic procedures for heart and lung disorders. Responsibilities also include equipment operation, quality control, maintenance, collaboration, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Work across all aspects of Respiratory Therapy Services
Support Sleep Lab procedures and clinical responsibilities
Operate complex equipment and complete general maintenance
Promote patient safety through informed clinical practice
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
Current Ontario registration and good professional standing
Current BCLS and NRP certifications
Excellent patient and adult teaching abilities
Recent hospital, acute care, or Sleep Lab experience
Computer skills including Accessioning and Order Entry
Combine technical and clinical respiratory therapy skills with independent practice, teaching, and safety-focused care at Brightshores.
