Automotive estimating and mechanical knowledge define this full-time Edmonton position with CSN Herbers West. Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
As an Estimator, you will support the collision repair team through detailed assessments and customer communication. The work requires insurance process knowledge, cash handling, and sales techniques. You will collaborate with autobody technicians while explaining repair needs and related costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess vehicle damage using dealership and automotive repair knowledge
Prepare detailed estimates following company standard operating procedures
Collaborate with autobody technicians on repair assessments
Explain estimates, insurance coverage, and required deductibles
Handle cash transactions for estimates and repairs
Requirements:
Three years' collision and repair estimating experience required
Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle damage and repairs
Understanding of insurance company processes and guidelines
Customer service and effective client communication skills
Proficiency in cash handling and sales techniques
