Senior Recreation Manager Retirement Living
Levante Living
Lead recreation services at Levante Living, applying recreation therapy and senior-focused programming in a supportive retirement living residence. Guide activities, outings, and resident engagement.
The Manager, Recreation leads the Recreation team and assesses resident interests, activity needs, and desires. This senior leadership role coordinates recreation therapy, volunteer programs, community communications, and resident support. Programs follow policy, physician orders, care plans, and scope of practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Recreation team in excellent service delivery
Assess recreation therapy activities, outings, and resident needs
Modify programs as residents’ needs and interests change
Coordinate volunteer and student placement programs
Resolve resident and family concerns promptly
Requirements:
Degree in Recreation or Leisure Studies with Gerontology courses
Three to five years planning recreation for seniors
Three or more years in a leadership role
CCAA, CANFIT PRO, or willingness to certify
Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance and Vaccine Policy compliance
