As Culinary Manager, you will manage the culinary and dining department across retirement living operations. You will recruit, train, and oversee culinary and service professionals while managing financials, cost control, and resident satisfaction. Collaboration with the Executive Director, National Director, Regional Managers, and residents will turn culinary visions into actionable plans. Your work will support diverse menus, premium ingredients, excellent service, and impeccable presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and oversee culinary and service professionals
Manage culinary operations, financials, and cost efficiency
Collaborate with directors, regional managers, and residents
Develop menus featuring quality, variety, and presentation
Ensure compliance and cultivate resident relationships
Requirements:
Several years of professional chef experience
Supervisory or leadership experience in culinary settings
Food Safety or Food Handler's Certification
Knowledge of budgeting, inventory, and food cost control
Strong leadership, communication, and culinary expertise
