Class 1 Vac Truck Operator
Birch-Mountain-Enterprises-
Drive vacuum and Hydro-Vac equipment as a Class 1 Operator with Birch Mountain Enterprises, supporting safe industrial and commercial services.
Based at the Fort McKay main shop, this role operates several Class 1 or 3 units in varied weather conditions. Responsibilities include truck housekeeping, equipment standards, current training, safety meetings, and daily records. Candidates with related Water, Vacuum, Hydro, or ComboVac experience are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate vacuum, Hydro-Vac, tanker, and flat bed units
Keep assigned trucks clean and maintain company image
Maintain BME tools and equipment to required standards
Keep training current and follow assigned procedures
Identify continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements:
Class 1 license with a clean driver’s abstract
Minimum three years’ relevant equipment operating experience
Mechanical inclination and physical fitness for all weather
OSSA or BSO/CSO and CSTS certification
H2S Alive and related certifications considered assets
