We seek an experienced finance professional to assist with compliance related to financial reporting, particularly in support of SOX requirements. This role encompasses coordination of audits, understanding transaction flows, and addressing process control risks. Your analytical skills and effective communication will be crucial to our finance team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Understand SOX process flows and assess financial risks
• Coordinate walkthroughs and effectiveness testing for SOX audits
• Liaise with stakeholders to address control process issues
• Validate corrections in remediation of deficiencies
• Support the corporate controller for annual audits
Requirements:
• University degree in accounting or finance with control framework knowledge
• Document transaction flows accurately for compliance
• Conduct detailed risk assessments on operations
• Bilingual communication skills in French and English
• Collaborate broadly with internal clients across Canada
