Inpatient Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Ontario
SHN Scarborough Health Network
Deliver in-patient physiotherapy care as a permanent part time clinician with Scarborough Health Network in Ontario. Support mobility, safety, and recovery.
The Physiotherapist works across SHN’s three hospitals and eight satellite sites, according to departmental needs. This position provides comprehensive assessments and recommendations for patients with varied needs. It also involves self-care planning, inter-professional collaboration, community liaison, and participation in conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive services to patients in in-patient areas
Develop recommendations that maximize safety and function
Plan continued self-care programs for clients
Attend team meetings and patient-family conferences
Communicate with community-based providers and families
Requirements:
Ontario physiotherapy licence held in good standing
Current Basic Life Support certification
Ability to work with neurological or orthopaedic impairments
Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities
Ability to work within an inter-professional team
Apply physiotherapy assessment, self-care planning, and teamwork skills while supporting patient function and recovery throughout SHN.
